Painted canvas figuring a horse with a brown bai coat, detached from the gilt background represented in profile. The ending of its legs, its mane, tale and eyes are black. 

Linen raw canvas hand painted with natural pigments and background gilt with copper leaf. Canvas is stretched on a wood frame chassis.
