Pair of Oriental style lamps in spelter, Napoleon III period

Pair of Oriental style lamps in spelter figuring : for one, an African man wearing a fabric wrapped around his head and falling on his back and a fabric wrapped around his hips. For the other one, an African woman wearing a small top, a sarouel and a fabric wrapped around her body. They wears bracelets on their wrists, arms and ankles and a beads necklace around their neck. In contraposto position they each one carry on their shoulders an amphora. The man hold in his other hand, a leather purse and the woman holds a fabric part to carry fruits.
They both stand on onyx circular bases topped by small spelter pedestals decorated with water leaves and beads frieze.

Work realized in the Napoleon III period.
