Pair of armchairs with head support, armrests and legs in buffalo horn. Dark brown leather seat. Back made of seven leather braids joining the backset crosspiece and the seat. Joints between armrests and back, the central part of the back top and the head support covered by leather.

Michel Haillard (1959) is a French designer who was trained at the French Superior School of Modern Arts. In the 1990’s, he begins to focus on sculpture and furniture design. He collaborates with many decorators such as Philippe Starck. His unique style combines exuberance of shapes and exoticism of materials : horns, animal skins, bone, hair…) by creating furniture safari universes. He wanted to show all world aspects and its various peoples through tribal and contemporary furniture. He invited us to travel, through his creations, in beautiful and savages countries or in disappeared and reinvented places.
