Desk in mahogany veneer, “Multitable” model. Box with three drawers in front, two niches in the back. Straight base in black lacquered steel joined by a spacer. Tray in black laminate. Rectangular handles in black lacquered steel.

Jacques Hitier (1917-1999) is a decorator and furniture designer. He created, after the Second World War, industrial furniture intended for small communities and housing, which he presented in particular at the Salon des artistes décorateurs and the Salon des artsménagers. He is influenced by René Gabriel or Marcel Gascouin.
