Painted silk panel with flowers and birds decor, Japanese work, circa 1900

Former screen with colors inked on a silk background decorated of birds, trees and flowers. Four sheets have been reinstalled edge-to-edge in a large black lacquered wood frame.
Far eastern symbolism of composing elements is meaningful. Indeed, blossom prunus is a nature resurrection symbol after winter. Blooming bud peony symbolizes spring, nobility and prosperity.  Hummingbirds are usually painted in couple referring to conjugal love.

Some marks of use on the panels, slightly bleached on the bottom near to the frame, in the middle.
