Horace Vernet, in the style of.

Orientalist style engraving depicting a scene with Bedouins in traditional clothes, with their walking sticks. They stand in the shade of palm trees with their finely engraved leaves, two of them seated to the right, counting coins, another giving a whispering sign to the central figure, another straddling a low wall and a tree trunk . In the foreground, on the ground, we see a knife, a dead animal, a jar and a bag of faded food. In the background, we can see a Tartar tent and figures walking in groups in the desert, with a mountain range on the horizon. The set presents contrasts of lights, black and white.

Frame in gilt stucco adorned with leaves and small foliage. Old bubble glass window.
