Lamp with three arms of lights representing putti, resting on a marble base and a curved quadripod base. Shaft decorated with leaves and original lampshade in green lacquered sheet metal, with its decorative key allowing the lampshade to be placed at different heights.

Victor Boudet was a company active between 1886 and 1914, established at 43 boulevard des Capucines from 1886 then 8 place Vendôme with the name Boudet Frères & Cie from 1908 to 1914. It was one of the most important Parisian retailers of luxury furniture, bronzes, works of art and silverware. The cabinetmakers and sculptors Zwiener, Linke, Millet and Léon Messagé supplied the maison Boudet with goods; their productions were stamped Boudet.

The maison Boudet had a stand at the Franco-British Exhibition of 1908 and presented royal furniture such as Marie-Antoinette’s desk, a copy of Caffieri’s fireplace at Fontainebleau and a large clock, a copy of a model on display at Versailles.
