Floor lamp in gilt bronze. Central shaft in openwork composed of three vertical and straight rushes stylized as bamboos. In the lower part, a triangular-shaped base with a concave edge finished by doucine feet. In the upper part, a cup adorned with two rabbeted frieze on which is grafted the bushing.
French work realized in the 1970’s.

Baguès is a lighting manufacturer founded in 1840 by Noël Baguès, which first was specialized first in manufacturing liturgical bronzes manufacturing. With the generalization of electricity in the household, the Bagues house starts the realization of lighting bronzes in the 1860’s. Bagues’ chandeliers are exported worldwide et make Bagues a reference in the luminaire lighting field thanks to its craftsmanship. Materials are shaped by traditional techniques as well as crimping, gilding, and patina which allow Bagues to have the status of Living Heritage Business, a witness of studio’s historical savoir-faire and their transmission.
