Svend Aage Holm Sorensen (1913-2004) was a Danish designer known for his lightings. His style hugely evolved through trends between the 1950’s and the 1970’s.
He began with Bauhaus inspired lamps to end with Brutalist style chandeliers. He loved to use recurring patterns that he customized and treated in a brutal way to create a contrast between beautiful shape and raw materials. He might have created a special process for brass with acid, which allow identifying his unstamped creations.
