Set of four Louis XV style corner consoles, in carved and lacquered wood, white and gold, the wavy-shaped wooden top with a diamond-point decoration. Volute-shaped base ending in a shoe. Tops in marble in red tones and white veined.

French work realized circa 1900.

Maison Jansen is an interior design house founded in 1880 by Jean-Henri Jansen. At these beginnings, the Jansen house did not have any furniture manufacturing workshop and reuse furniture that had already been made. The company becomes one of the biggest buyers of antiques in Europe. Subsequently, in the 1890s, the Maison Jansen created an antiques gallery to sell its objects. In the 1940s, the company created its own workshops in Paris.
