Pair of cane Louis XVI style walnut armchairs standing on four fluted tapered legs carved with chandelles (candles motifs) topped by joints carved of rosettes. Medaillon back. Seat rail and stiles adorned with ribboned bulrushes, beads frieze and central knots on the front rail and the top rail. Arm supports beneath the leg line, adorned with acanthus leaves and supporting arm with a scroll shape handholds, all decorated with acanthus leaves. Cane back and seat.
Work realized in the 19th century.
Dimensions : H 98 x W 62 x D 47 cm.
Small wood loss on the back bottom of one armchair. Partially restored cane.
