Pair of Louis XVI style armchairs in gilt wood, circa 1880

Pair of a la Reine Louis XVI style armchairs in gilt wood standing on four tapered fluted legs adorned with foliage rings, topped by joints adorned with rosettes. Slightly bulged apron decorated with a water leaves frieze and a beads frieze. Arm supports on the leg line adorned with a triglyph and a scroll adorned with an acanthus leaf. Arms with manchettes decorated finishing in a scroll forming handhold. Arched flat back with adorned with a water leaves frieze, a beads frieze and a central with flowers.

Trim and manchettes entirely reupholstered by our workshop with a Créations Métaphores fabric, reference Prisme, colour Bronze.
