Louis XV style à la Reine armchair in gilt wood, end 19th century

Louis XV style à la Reine armchair in gilt wood standing on four cabriole legs with a decor of rocaille cartouche and acanthus leaves. Scalloped apron adorned with flowers, acanthus leaves and central shell. Arms supports slightly behind the leg line adorned with acanthus leaves and supporting arms with manchettes and decorated with scrolls, c-crests and acanthus leaves. Central identation flat back, slightly scalloped with a cresting shell. Uprights decorated with ribonned rush, acanthus leaves on the shoulders and central shell.

Trim, cushion and manchettes entirely reupholstered by our workshop with a Rubelli fabric, BACCARAT reference, ORO colour. Rubelli is historical Venetian fabric manufacture and was created in the late 19th century with now workshops in Cuccagio, Italy, in the former Zanchi workshops. This Manufacture produces high quality and luxury fabrics, also used for La Scala or La Fenice theaters.

Work realized at the end of the 19th century.
