Large Danish coffee table in rosewood and metal, 1970’s
Large Danish rectangular rosewood coffee table standing on a unique stand composed of two vertical uprights joined together. Four metal bars are fixed on it and formed legs.
Rosewood tray with a slightly barrel shape.
Work realized in the 1970’s.
The mix of rosewood and metal can remind a rectangular coffee table from the 1960’s realized by the Danish designer Helge Sibast (1908-1985), the slightly curved shape of the tray can recall the trays of some tables of the Danish designer Kurt Ostervig (1912-1986) and the general shape may seem like the Scandinavian design with its curved shapes, very refined and its use of natural materials such as wood.
