Gilt brass shelf composed by four large frames on each side, which support five trays. Veneered elm burl rectangular trays framed by gilt brass and supported by cubic-silvered brass angles.

French work realized in the 1980’s.

Guy Lefèvre was a French designer who worked on contrasts between materials, playing on glossy and mat as we can see with these shelf mixing brass and elm burl. His furniture is geometrical and very elegant. He is known to have worked for the French famous Maison Jansen.
