Germain-Maximilien Durand, stamp. 

Pair of rosewood-veneered corner consoles, stamped under the molded Aleppo breccia marble. Veneer in curling wood, rosewood and violet wood. Curved feet joined by two crotch shelves. Gilt bronze trim adorned with stylized acanthus leaves.

Work realized circa 1880.

Germain-Maximilien Durand (1839-1920) is a 19th century Parisian cabinetmaker. He participated in the Universal Exhibition of 1889 during which he won a silver medal. He mainly produced copies of 18th century furniture.
