Dorothée Becker (1938-) is a designer of German origin. She shared her life between Europe and the United States. She was married to the famous designer Ingo Maurer (1932-2019). She is known for having designed the “Uten.Silo” wall-mounted storage compartment which comes in two sizes. The first model, “Uten.Silo I” was designed in 1969 ; the second, smaller model, “Uten-Silo II“, dates from 1970.
