Small brown leather box hit with gilt irons with a decor of foliage swags. Sprandels, hinge and lock in gilt and chiseled brass. Inside fabric in gold shades and flowery motifs.
Gold letter stamp inside the top “À la Marquise de Sevigné”.

La Marquise de Sévigné is a French candy and chocolate maker, specialized in the creation and the selling of fine candy and chocolates. It was created in 1898 in Royat by Clémentine and Auguste Rouzau, and many shops were open in Paris and in France at the beginning of the 20th century.
