After creating a house of jewelery , he founded the goldsmith’s house and acquired in 1842 and 1843 patents for gilding and silvering galvanic.

It is true that this goldsmith house does not fit in our study, but Christofle also presented at the Universal Exhibitions of 1867 and 1878 exceptional furniture.
